The Optimist Club of Herndon VA is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(c)(4) civic organization. Your donation helps us to ensure that all children in our community can participate in our youth sports programs regardless of their economic circumstances, and funds the purchase of sports equipment and facility maintenance and improvements. In the HOC Donation Form you will be able to specify to which HOC youth civic and/or sports program(s) you wish to donate funds.

The Greater Herndon Youth Foundation (GHYF) is a 501(c)(3) organization established in 2011 to gather public support contributions for the purpose of enabling not-for-profit organizations to provide educational, literary, or amateur sports competition opportunities to the youth of Herndon, Virginia and surrounding communities. When making your tax deductible donation to the GHYF please designate the Optimist Club of Herndon VA as the intended recipient and indicate which HOC youth civic and/or sports program(s) you wish to receive your funds.

Are you looking to promote your business to our youth sports program families? Become a Herndon Optimist Youth Sports sponsor! All sponsors receive their name, logo, and website URL on the selected sports program's home page. Depending on the sports program and sponsorship level, sponsors may also receive a banner, sponsor name on player jerseys, and/or an email blast to families with customized sponsor content.

Sponsor funds are used to purchase sports equipment and coaching supplies, maintain or improve sports facilities, and/or cover the cost of registration and uniform fees for those children who otherwise would not be able to participate in our sports program. In addition, sponsors can request the funds be used for extra items such as team apparel, skills clinic fees, or tournament fees.
