Cheerleading - Camps
HOYC Summer Cheer Camp
July 21 – 25, 2008- 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Herndon Middle School field for rising 1st – 10th graders. All cheerleaders will practice together and will be learning cheers for the season. This is not a mandatory camp but is strongly encouraged that you attend. There is no additional fee for the camp. A waiver will be required if not already registered for the fall program. Forms will be available at the 1st day of camp
Herndon High School -- Junior Hornet Cheer Camp
July 28 – July 31, 2008- 9:30 am – 12:00 pm at Herndon High School. For boys and girls rising 2nd grade through 9th grade. The cost is $125, but if you register prior to June 1st the cost is just $110. Sign up a sibling and save even more! Click here for the registration form. This is a Herndon High School camp and is not affiliated with HOYC and is not mandatory, but is encouraged.
NCA Camp
August 6 – August 8, 2008- 9:00 am – 3:30 pm at Dranesville Elementary School. For boys and girls, ages 6-15 yr olds. The cost is $87. Lunch and concessions will be available for purchase. Register online now! All cheerleaders are welcome. This camp is run by the excellent staff of the National Cheerleading Association and is hosted by HOYC. Other cheerleading organizations are invited and encouraged to attend. NCA camp is not mandatory for HOYC cheerleaders, but is encouraged.

We welcome groups and individual cheerleaders (and coaches too!), so please let anyone who may be interested aware of this camp. It's a good price and will be a great weekend for all that will be involved.
