Registration for both players and volunteers is accomplished on-line. We ask that all players register by October 31. The fee is $65 per player, with a $180 maximum when three or more players are registered from the same family. Beginning November 1 a late registration fee of $25 will be in effect. Players registering after this date are not assured of being placed on a team.

The fee for players intending to play for Herndon travel cost will be $125 for returning players with uniforms in good shape. All 10U players and new players needing uniforms will be charged additional fee of $75 when they are selected a team.

Players intending to try out for a Herndon travel team who would choose to play in the Herndon Haley league if not selected for Herndon travel are encouraged to register before October 31 to avoid the late registration fee.

Any high school players making the high school basketball team will be given full refund of registration fee. Players trying out for Herndon travel and not selected will have their fee will be used for Haley league registration and the difference refunded.


Volunteers are essential for any youth sports program and this one is no different. Volunteers are needed for over 80 head coaching positions, a similar number of assistant coaching positions and volunteer building directors to supervise during games. We ask that all interested volunteers register. This enables us to have you in the database for ongoing email communications and to run background checks to ensure the safety of our youth.
