This year we will award up to three $2,000 scholarships for students who are attending or plan to attend four-year post secondary institutions or who are pursuing post secondary options other than a four-year institution.

Applicants must meet one or more of the following criteria:

• Are currently students at Herndon High School, or have graduated from Herndon High School.
• Would normally attend (or would have attended) Herndon High School, but who attend either a private or parochial school, or other public schools because of special education requirements.
• Have participated in Herndon Optimist Club sponsored programs (Sports, Oratorical or Essay contest, Youth to Youth, etc.) Note: Herndon Youth Soccer is NOT an Optimist Club sponsored program.

Applications are also available through the following:
