Community Programs Overview
Herndon Optimist Club members, along with approximately 800 non-member volunteers, serve 3,700 youth each year in 85 different program areas. Long known as the sponsor/organizer/manager of youth sports programs, the Herndon Optimists have been expanding into other youth activities. While not an exhaustive list, the following gives some idea of the breadth and diversity of the Herndon Optimist programs.
