Membership
The Optimist Club of Herndon is open to all men and women who reside in or have an interest in the greater-Herndon community. Men and women who wish to be known as "Friends of Youth". By joining the Herndon Optimist Club you will become a member of Optimist International. For additional information on Optimist International, visit their web site at www.optimist.org.
Our year runs from October 1 to September 30 of each year. Current club dues are $56.00 per year, with a one time initiation fee of $20.00. You may join in any month, and dues for the year will be prorated from the joining date.
Your membership application can be completed either online or by printing off the application form and mailing in to the club. Online applications will be validated once the annual dues have been received and processed.
If you are mailing in your application, please contact the club to determine the current dues. A check for the current dues amount will need to be mailed in with your application.
To print the membership application form you need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can download your free copy from here.
Once you have printed off the application form and completed it, please mail it back to the following address along with a check for the current dues amount:
