Activities
The Herndon Optimist Club is involved in many activities throughout the year both for the community and local schools. Listed here are some of these activities:
- Herndon Festival Booth - for years the Herndon Optimist Club has had a booth serving the best Barbeque around!!
- Casino Night for the All Night Graduation Party for Herndon High School Seniors.
- Respect for Law Program, to honor and recognize the Herndon Police Department.
- Provide Marshall's for the Herndon Dulles Chamber of Commerce - Friday Night Live concert events.
- Participate in the Herndon Homecoming Parade.
- Conduct Partners in Education Night to honor the outstanding teachers or school employees in our area.
- Conduct Essay and Oratorical Contest for local area youth.
